That decision has been one of the most important and controversial developments in national politics of the past few years. The debate was furthered at last week's event, where delegates from each side of the argument stated their cases.
Robert Weissman, president of the public advocacy group Public Citizen, argued against the Citizens United decision. I had the chance to interview Mr. Weissman, who was gracious enough to discuss with me the work his organization does and why he thinks Citizens United is so harmful.
